I watch a lot of shows on TV as an effective way to disengage from long days at the office. I primarily prefer to follow shows of the “crime’n’action” persuasion, and I especially like to see our heroes cunningly outsmart the opposition and / or completely annihilate them verbally. ‘Guess we all like to see the good guys win, right?

I often catch myself thinking, that it would be fun to see some of the heroes from these shows, join forces and fight the villains together – how awesome would that be! I have therefore decided to create such lineup, in theory at least, and assemble the ultimate team of heroes, without superpowers – just to keep it simple.

First off we need a team leader. Someone who possess the authority and smarts to wield the reins of this team of excellence. I can think of no other than:

• Special Agent Jethro Gibbs (N.C.I.S.)
  Role: Team leader.
  Specialties: Natural authority, calmness to maintain overview, master sniper.

Then there is the team itself; a multi purpose crime fighting unit, to be launched against foes everywhere:

• Dr. Cal Lightman (Lie to me)
  Role: Human behavior expert, facilitator.
  Specialties: Body language, verbal intellect, dialogue, high IQ.
• Dr. Spencer Reid (Criminal Minds)
  Role: Profiler, behavioral knowledge expert.
  Specialties: Profiling, high IQ.
• Dr. Walter Bishop (Fringe)
  Role: Lead Scientist.
  Specialties: Genius and scientific expert.
• Marty Kaan (House of lies)
  Role: PR and Marketing
  Specialties: Certified bullshitter
• Eliot Spencer (Leverage)
  Role: Soldier, weapons expert, martial arts expert.
  Specialties: Hand to hand combat, tactics, muscle.
• Gil Grissom (C.S.I.)
  Role: Forensic expert.
  Specialties: Forensic science, high IQ.
• Lt. Col. Sarah MacKenzie (J.A.G.)
  Role: Lawyer, charmer.
  Specialties: Military law, hand to hand combat, prosecution.
• Cmdr. Harmon Rabb, jr. (J.A.G.)
  Role: Lawyer, soldier.
  Specialties: Military law, fighter pilot, prosecution.
• Alan shore (Boston Legal)
  Role: Lawyer, debater.
  Specialties: Civil law, verbal intellect, high IQ.
• Charlie Eppes (Num3ers)
  Role: Mathematician.
  Specialties: Mathematics and theories.
• Jackson “Jax” Teller (Sons of Anarchy)
  Role: Brawler, grunt, physical confrontation.
