Outlook feature

OK granted; Microsoft, despite its numerous product flaws, is a brilliant company. They have managed to include most of the world in their product suites, and for the most parts it gets the job done. That’s impressive from all angles and perspectives.

However (and this is a big fucking “but”); there is one specific thing about Microsoft, that doesn’t make any sense whatsoever! The amount of mails sent every day has just exceeded 300 billion, and yet Outlook has no feature that allows you to keep track of who didn’t respond to the mails you send. WTF?!

At work I try to keep the amount of emails to a minimum, I try to only send stuff that matters and I strive to only to include people to whom it matters. Still I average around 60 emails daily, so you can imagine the frustration I battle with. All I want is to be able to see, of all the mails I sent within the last week (for instance), who didn’t respond yet.

Somebody PLEASE tell me that I am missing something obvious, and that Microsoft (of course) has this option in their portfolio of choices!
