My colleague just received a mail offering him $15,000,000 if he would provide a bank account, to aid a company moving diamonds. Instead of deleting it as we all do when these con mails strike our inbox, he replied with the following answer:
Dear sirs,
On behalf of my company we would gladly aid you in this enterprise. We see the opportunity for both parties to benefit, and so we embrace future correspondence detailing this project. Please forward all future communication to our regional accounting manager,
Sincerely
The joke is that he actually provided them with genuine information, without of regional accounting manager’s consent 😀
