An American friend asked me to describe Scandinavia for him, as he’s moving there this coming October. I thought about pros and cons, benefits and disadvantages as well as the different cultures, but what it really narrows down to is this:

• If you’re looking to have fun standing up; go to Norway.
• If you’re looking to have fun sitting down; talk to the Danes.
• If you’re looking to have fun lying down; fuck a Swede.
