How low does your self-esteem have to be for you to feel good about publishing all fortune events coming you way, on you IM headlines? It’s annoying in the same way 5 year olds keep showing off their new toy, and I dare to say that any adult should be mature enough to know this; I mean really!?

Its ok to crave attention if you’re sad or something unfortunate happened to you, but it is not ok to crave attention if you got paid, got a new car or going some place cool. How about a little subtlety and etiquette? Maybe I’m just old-fashioned but doesn’t it indicate a better character to inform inquiring people that you went to a U2 concert last weekend, instead of announcing the trip in advance?
